The Stay at Villa Navi

Mediterranean vibe holiday house at puncak, Bogor.

This place is so great that two days stay is not enough to enjoy the place. The light at night, the Mediterranean vibe, spacious open space. All is so breathtakingly wonderful. You’ll have no regret staying for week long in a place like this. Amazing place to get yourself free from routine for a while.

Unplanned holiday is often become one of the best. My sister’s got this from her friend who cancel the stay for  the exact price offered by villa’s management. So she ask us to come along with her family. Since the villa is to big for them alone. It’s consist of four spacious bedrooms and a huge open space that lead to a swimming pool. This open space begins with kitchen and a long dinning table at the top level. Then followed by few stairs down leading to a lounge room with three wide lazy benches surrounding a big coffee table. A TV set complete with it’s sound system perched on a low cabinet at one side and a barbecue at the other side. And this followed by a few stairs down lead to the pool. Bean bags are lined neatly on the opposite side of the pool faced to the lounge room. The property are lined with bamboo fences along the side that provides privacy. At night these lines of bamboo are decorated with lights that added a cozy warm romantic atmosphere. Perfect addition to beautify this already gorgeous piece of property.

We arrived here around five. We’re late. we actually should check in at 3 pm. The kids had to finish their school first so we got no choice. That’s the risk having holiday in week days. They give you quite an affordable price for a place like this.

At first sight we know they manage the property very well. The place is very clean. The pool is cleaned every day. You also have a staff crew on stand by. Just in case you need their help. They helped us when we realized we forgot to bring the eggs. They bought them for us. Even though they always ready to help, you won’t see the staffs unless you called them. They stay at their own place at the back. This place surely know how give you full privacy. They only come down late at night to turn off the lights and early in the morning, around 6, to clean the pool.

This place is so much better that we expected. The kitchen are provided with a fridge and a microwave oven. There are also kitchen utensils you need to cook – knife, cutting board, spatulas, etc. You’ll also find pans and a huge pot enough to cook large portion of meals. And on the corner they provide you with a rice cooker and a water dispenser. To my surprise, there’s also a pressure cooker. Basically you can cook any kind of meal you wish here.

On the kitchen drawer you’ll also find lots of spoons, forks, plates, bowls, and mugs. A bottle of dish soap complete with the sponge is ready to use. So you don’t have to worried having not enough plates. As for the charcoal for barbecue, you can ask the staff to buy it for you. We don’t use the barbecue. We thought it would be such a waste to use so much just for a few of us. So we just use pan to cook the meat and sausages instead.

At the lounge area lazy benches around a wide coffee table. A dinner table with 12 chairs. There are four big rooms. All rooms have queen size bed and their own bathroom with shower. Hot water is available. Three of the bedrooms have double bed. And one room is only with one bed. They also provide you with 6 extra beds. There is also one extra bathroom outside. One room with double bed is located upstairs. In all, this villa is perfect for 15 people. Just the way they said it on their Instagram account. FYI, they will charge more if you bring more than 15 people.

The parking area is enough for more than five cars. The villa is just next to the road. For us is just perfect. Easy ride, easy to reach kinda place. We’re not so into the secluded house that far from anywhere in the middle of the forest thing. At least not on this holiday. We still need that internet connection because the kids need it for school. And this place also provided with Wi-Fi connection.

The only downfall of this place is that you won’t get that mountain scenery that Puncak is famous for. But the design of the place is already outstanding so somehow that downfall is replaceable. Instead you can feel the vibe brings interactions among the people who comes with you a lot closer. So it’s very suitable for a family gathering or if you want to party with a bunch of best friends.
